Myofascial Release Babies And Kids

Myofascial Release For Babies & Children

A gentle form of therapy that releases the Fascial connective tissue in joints, Myofascial release can help provide relief for children with growing or sports related pains, preemptively treating birthing and orthopaedic or movement issues.

Myofascial Release is a gentle and non-invasive manual therapy designed to reduce pain and tension in the muscles. It assists in releasing the tension that can occur in the fascia, or connective tissue, due to trauma or imbalance in a child’s muscle system. Through gentle sustained pressure, it helps the muscles relax and creates a balance between the body and mind.

It is suitable and safe for babies, toddlers, children, and adolescents as it does not involve any forceful manipulation. Myofascial Release is known to help kids with growing pains, scoliosis, postural anomalies, birthing injuries, orthopaedic issues, movement disorders and chronic respiratory diseases. It can also help to realign posture and stabilize the body, helping them to gain strength and flexibility, leading to improved coordination and posture.

By providing sustained pressure to targeted areas of the body, Myofascial Release helps to relax the muscle tissue, improving their ability to move freely and with ease while improving range of motion in children. This therapy can also aid in reducing fussiness and inconsolable crying, as well as improve sleep patterns, positional plagiocephaly, and other movement-related issues.

Additionally, myofascial release can help reduce discomfort associated with teething and digestion, as well as helping to alleviate sinus congestion in young children.
