When can I start postnatal yoga classes after giving birth?

The timing for postnatal exercise varies for each individual, and it’s crucial to allow your body adequate time to recover after childbirth. Generally, we do recommend starting postnatal yoga classes around 6 weeks to 8 weeks postpartum. For postpartum mums who undergo caesarean, we do recommend at least 8 to 12 weeks after birth. For private classes, you can resume at an earlier stage as the instructor will be customising to your needs. However, always consult with your healthcare provider to ensure it is safe for you to begin doing yoga.

Do I need prior yoga experience to join a postnatal yoga class?

No prior yoga experience is necessary. Our Postpartum Yoga classes are designed for all levels, including beginners.

Can I bring my baby to the class?

Yes, many of our Postnatal Yoga classes are designed to include your baby. This makes it convenient for new mothers. You can always place your baby next to you while having your own class. 

How long are postnatal yoga classes?

Our Postpartum Yoga class is an hour-long class. 

Are postnatal yoga classes safe after a C-section?

How do I sign up for a postnatal yoga class?

TRIAL BOOKING

To register for a Postnatal Yoga trialcreate an account at our Customer Portal. Go to “Inspire Shop”, click “Passes”, Select either “Group Class Trial (weekday) Pass” or “Group Class Trial (weekend) Pass”, Select the “Student” to enrol, Proceed with payment.

Once payment is done, go to “My Account”. Click the Student’s Name. Look for “Passes”. Click and select the type of program, date and time and “Punch In”.


TO PURCHASE PASSES

NEW STUDENT: To purchase passes, create an account at our Customer Portal. Go to “Inspire Shop”, click “Passes”, Select the pass you are keen to purchase, Select the “Student” to enrol, add to Cart. Go back to “Inspire Shop”, go to “Passes”, select “One time Registration Fee”, add to cart, Proceed with payment.

Once payment is done, go to “My Account”. Click the Student’s Name. Look for “Passes”. Click and select the type of program, date and time and “Punch In”.

Teacher Natalie is a seasoned Yoga Instructor with over 12 years of experience, specializing in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. Her journey into the world of yoga began nearly a decade ago while she was still immersed in the corporate world. What initially started as a form of physical exercise quickly transformed into a way of life, leading her to pursue a deeper understanding of yoga through a Yoga Teacher Training Course accredited by the International Yoga Alliance. Natalie graduated with a Diploma, marking the beginning of her professional yoga teaching career.

Driven by a passion for helping others through the practice of yoga, Natalie furthered her education by earning certifications to teach Yoga to children and families, as well as Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga to support soon-to-be and new mothers. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to achieve additional certifications in Wheel Yoga, Myofascial Release, and Yin Yoga, broadening her expertise and enabling her to offer a comprehensive approach to her students.
